Whales are some of the most majestical creatures in the world and there is nothing more breathtaking and memorable than watching them close up in their natural habitats. With that being said, one of the most memorable things and something that every animal lover should do at least once in their lifetime is going whale watching. Whales can be found in many oceans of the world all the way from Antarctica to Africa. Because they can be seen in so many different places, it is hard to choose the best place to go to if you don’t know what to look for. Yes, you can see them in all those places, but in certain places, it will be more magical than others. Canada

Sri Lanka

But if you want to see blue whales you need to go during February and March.

New Zealand

Perth

One of the most popular places is whale watching in Perth and the best time to indulge in such adventure is from mid-July to November, but the best time you can go is in late August. It is the best time because you will be able to experience humpback whales and their calves learning their basic survival skills before they are ready to migrate back to Antarctic waters and live their lives.

Iceland

Island is one of the under-the-radar locations for whale watching despite it being one of the best places in the whole of Europe for such activity. There are over twenty species that you will be able to see from blue whales to orcas. The Maldives

Another fun place you can visit if you want to go whale watching is in the Maldives. The Maldives is home to over twenty different whales as well as dolphin species. The Azores

They have one of the most diverse whale types and that is what makes them so popular. There you will be able to spot dolphins, killer whales, orcas as well as fin and blue whales.
