Precast concrete is used for foundations, walls, and columns. It is made by pouring a mixture of cement and sand into a mold.
The molds are usually made from steel or fiberglass. The molds are closed while the concrete cures and the finished product can be left inside the mold to cure completely before removing it. When you remove the molds, the cast concrete must be Concrete company cut and trimmed.
Prestressed concrete is similar to cast concrete except that it has reinforcing bars placed within the concrete before the concrete is poured. This allows the concrete to be stronger than normal cast concrete. The reinforced concrete is then shaped into the desired form and cured in the same way as cast-in-place concrete.
