Meet the Squish Crew
Squish is a term we use to describe short-term members of our team—people who have come in to help us with a specific project. As they leave, they may be replaced by new squishes. In an effort to raise awareness about just how amazing these people are, we want to share their stories with you. So without further ado: meet our squishes! We hope you love them as much as we do. And if you’re interested in joining our crew, let us know. There’s always room for more Squishers.
What We Do
We’re a group of young entrepreneurs who are really into playing paintball. We’ve formed a collective and will be hosting tournaments, as well as planning events in public parks around our city. At these events, players compete against one another to win prizes and play some good old-fashioned paintball. Who We Are
What started out as a fun extracurricular activity quickly became an inextricable part of high school for us. In its simplest form, we are a group of students who enjoy squeezing very large pieces of fruit into our mouths. While I’d be willing to bet that most people initially see our activities as frivolous and maybe even unhealthy, there is more to it than meets the eye. We have each been able to learn so much about ourselves through these experiences—not just about how far we can push ourselves physically,
But also about how hard we can push ourselves mentally. And if you think about it, isn’t that what life is all about? Pushing yourself beyond your limits? Learning from your mistakes? Finding new ways to improve yourself? That’s what SquishCrew among us art means to me: getting better every day.
How We Work
This is a challenge for us too. SquishCrew is an ever-changing, collaborative team made up of dozens of freelancers from all over that work on projects large and small as needed. We’re proud to say we’ve grown our team without losing our family feel and quality level control at any point. Still, it can be hard to coordinate such a motley crew! Not only does this allow them to contribute their own expertise, but it also ensures they understand exactly what you want out of your content before they begin writing.
